My name is Carolina Ordeix. I’m Uruguayan and have been living abroad for 10 years now. I love and truly enjoy WRITING and DRAWING, but mixing the two feels even more fun to me. That’s why ESCRIBUJAR (writing-drawing) comes so naturally. It’s how I make sense of the world and express what I feel. It makes me happy. I understand things better when I can visualize them and explain them in the same way.

Nina Ordeix is my alter ego as an illustrator and visual artist. The illustration world and mostly ART in general has been a very strong hobby, it was my first way to express my thoughts, my ideas and put something out in the world that makes me smile. As a self-taught artist, I started to create little doodles of “macaquitas” and in 2008 I introduced my main character: a girl named Helga that is present in most of my work.
