Nina is my alter ego as an illustrator and visual artist. Art, particularly illustration, has always been a strong passion of mine—a way to express my thoughts and ideas, and to put something into the world that brings me joy.

I’ve been drawing since 2008, and after a few years of self-teaching, I had the opportunity in 2009 to study with Uruguayan illustrator and cartoonist Fermín Hontou, also known as Ombú. That same year, I introduced my main character, Helga, a girl who appears in much of my work.
