About me

It’s not easy to choose a single word to define me, probably because I’ve explored and done many different things over the years. In a world that often seeks clear definitions, I’ve been a Media Planner, TV Producer, Communication Consultant, Ad Agency Executive, Change Practitioner, Culture and Engagement Champion, Illustrator, and Artist. The constant thread throughout has always been communication. With a Bachelor’s in Social Communication and a Master’s in Journalism and Digital Storytelling, I’ve continued to expand my communication shell, evolving with each new experience.

My curiosity is what keeps me energized. I love diving into books, articles, and conversations that spark new ideas and expand my perspective. Whether I’m in the corporate world, highlighting the positive aspects of change, writing an article, or sketching a new idea, I’m driven by a passion for finding connections and understanding the bridges between concepts. Guided by my intuition, I aim to translate these insights in whatever form they take—be it visually or in writing.

From ideas, to a projects to reality

NINA PROJECT – In 2012 while still in Uruguay I started to taught myself how to draw, I launched my blog “The Nina Project” as a platform to share my creative endeavors, including blog posts and my first illustrations.

NINA ORDEIX –  In 2014 under the name Nina Ordeix I branded my first products with my illustrations including my first Nina Calendars, totes and mugs and launched my first newsletter.

As life constantly evolves, this space, carolinaordeix.com, is my new home—a reflection of a more evolved version of myself. It’s a space where I plan to continue exploring the things I am interested, while going a bit deeper. Thank you for taking the time to read about my journey and for joining me in this new chapter of my creations.
